- *Advice for Future Band Members – If you want to get better at whatever your instrument is, it requires consistent practice. That could be through simple exercises or simply playing along to some of your favorite songs and working on whatever you need too while also having fun with it. Lastly, don’t take anything for granted, because you’ll never know when it’ll end. For instance, with my senior year ending prematurely, I never really appreciated what I had until it was gone, so if anything to the younglings, here’s this: Appreciate what you have, especially with a great teacher in Mr. Thomas, enjoy the trips and anything with the band because those memories that I made were truly life changing. Also, on another note, just be kind to everyone. *Plans for Next Year – Attending the University of Washington majoring in atmospheric sciences.
